Layered Medium Hairstyles 2010 Medium Hair

Layered Medium Hairstyles 2010 Medium Hair

medium length haircut is considered from just below the jawline to several inches just past the collar bone. A medium length hairstyle is perfect for those who prefer length but do not care for the maintenance of long hair.

A medium hairstyle can still be feminine, flirty and sophisticated, especially when you add layers. When adding layers to any length of hair always have your stylist help tailor the layers to best suit your features.

BRIDESMAID HAIR 2010 TIPS BRIDESMAID HAIR

BRIDESMAID HAIR 2010 TIPS

BRIDESMAID HAIR 2010 TIPS

Being asked to be a bridesmaid is a great honor for any woman but it also can be very stressful. You have to deal with the bride, who might be overly stressed herself, as well as finding the perfect dress, accessories, and hairstyle to match the wedding’s theme. To make it even more difficult, you have to make sure you don’t outdo the bride by accident.

BRIDESMAIDS HAIRSTYLE TIPS

You may find that your normally easygoing sister or friend suddenly is a tyrant during her wedding planning. Surprise! You have a “bridezilla.” You’re not going to get much of a say in how you dress or wear your hair and even if the bride chooses a style you hate, is there really any point in fighting with her over it? Weddings are emotionally trying and it’s hard sometimes to get someone to listen to you. You could try discussing your issues with a particular hairstyle but unless the bride is asking you to do something outrageous, like dye your hair pink or cut it incredibly short, is it really worth the battle? You only have to wear it this once after all.

BRIDESMAIDS HAIR TIPS

You may be lucky in that you are told the theme and the accessories; the rest is up to you. Wear your hair however you like. If you want to wear an up-do like a French twist, combs are great to add some pizzazz. Hair pins dress up any hairstyle, even short ones. A good rule to remember is that if the bride is wearing her hair down, you should wear yours up and vice versa. For short hair, fluff the back and add accessories and you’re good to go. Long hair can be curled, waved, braided, put into twists, and just about anything you can think of. Medium hair has lots of variety too, and is great for stylish up-dos. Any junior bridesmaids should wear their hair similar to the bridesmaids’ styles but with less of a grown up look.

2010 AFRICAN AMERICAN HAIRSTYLES TRENDS

African Americans have beautiful hair and with new styling techniques African Americans can have the same styles their Caucasian or Asian counterparts have. Afros are no longer the only option! 2010 will have many beautiful styles to choose from.

CURLY AFRICAN AMERICAN HAIRSTYLE FOR 2010

Yolanda Adams

Short is all the rage for 2010 for African Americans. The angled bob will be the most popular style. Jagged cut bangs that go over the eyes will be a great trend to go with as will side swept bangs. Another great idea for bangs are short and wispy bangs. The popularity of the bob isn’t surprising since this style is easily adapted to any woman. Rihanna is one of the most popular African Americans sporting this look and it’s also not a surprise that in 2010 her look will still be very popular.

STRAIGHT AFRICAN AMERICAN HAIR WITH BANGS 2010

Naomi Campbell

Short hairstyles with layers will also be very popular. These are necessarily the bob cuts (though those often use layers too) but these are also complimentary and easy to handle. Styling gel can allow you to do many things with these styles and any African American woman will look beautiful in a layered cut, whether she wants small curls or an edgy fringe. And of course, wear what you’re comfortable with. 2010 is all about being you.

Sleek Simple Medium Length Hairstyle

Sleek Simple Medium Length Hairstyle for women
Usually, simple hairstyles are not the best haircuts for square shaped faces but this one becomes a good selection. The haircut itself is very easy and a lot of women will be able to pull this off. Because of the angular jawline of the square faces stand out more, the straight bangs and ends help produce a more oval shaped look. Layered locks would produce a better effect but overall this style goes for simplicity and strikes. Here are some pictures of medium hairstyles for a Square Face
